National AIA Honor Award: A Balanced Vision Plan for the Trinity River Corridor

2006 Election to the College of Fellows is one of the highest honors that the American Institute of Certified Planners bestows upon a member. This honor recognizes the achievements of the professional as a model planner with significant contributions to planning and society. Fellowship is granted to planners who have been members of AICP and have achieved excellence in professional practice, teaching and mentoring, research, public or community service, and leadership.

Karen Walz was inducted into the College of Fellows Class of 2006. The April 22 ceremony was held at the historic Menger Hotel in San Antonio TX.
