Project Description
Strategic Community Solutions was part of a consultant team led by HOK, which assisted the City of Rowlett in a strategic update of its Comprehensive Plan. The project included a review of past plans, identification of strategic issues and areas, and creation of policies and implementation measures to ‘Realize Rowlett 2020’. SCS provided public outreach assistance, including social media. SCS also designed the project’s community open houses and charrette, drafted guiding principles, structured the implementation program and participated in other aspects of the project. Realize Rowlett 2020 was adopted unanimously by the City Council in September 2011.
