Project Description

Strategic Community Solutions assisted the City of San Antonio in its effort to update Master Plan Policies guiding development in the City and its extra-territorial jurisdiction. The project included design and leadership of workshop sessions for the interagency staff team and the stakeholder Steering Committee. Electronic keypad polling and online surveys were used as part of this effort. Ms. Walz also worked with the City staff to streamline and update the substantive recommendations contained in the goals and policies. The updated Comprehensive Master Plan Framework document was approved by the Planning Commission in November 2010. SCS also assisted City staff in refining the Comprehensive Master Plan Framework to include recommendations from the Mayor’s SA2020 project.
